I am not sure since i wasnt at slo pony, but that one is decently fast, 10 second car and makes good hp ( has been on our dyno ). It is also likely to be seen briefly on pinks all out, or pinks all outakes, sometime this fall

Isn't that the 300ZX with the Skyline drivetrain in it? That car is nothing short of wicked. My buddy said it was at MM last night running 10.5-10.6.

I doubt he was going that fast without slicks unless he made some changes to the car since last time, I think he runs mid to high 10's with slicks and mid to low 11's with drag radials. But yeah that car is nice and one of the few 300's I have seen actually run a good time.

I know its off topic but, I have never been to a MM and i thought they did domestic vs. import style race. Were the import not able to keep up with the cars showing up or did I just here from someone wrongly informed

They run two classes one for domestics and one for compacts. Heads up between the two would be pretty pointless, cause there are only a few compacts that see over 120mph.....

And the nissan has an rb26 motor with a rb25 drivetrain, as the rb26tt drivetrain is all wheel drive

Hey Guys

I remember trent telling me the name of this forum a while ago, just forgot to check it out.

The 300ZX is mine. Its an rb26 motor with a 300ZX trans. Car is also on E85

The quickest the car went friday (7-31-09) was 10.7 @ 130, I also had a few 10.9's. I was taking it easy on the launch because I've been trying to sort out an issue with breaking output shafts in my rear end. I went higher 1.5 60' times on friday, but the car has gone 1.4 60foots before.

Best time out in the car has been a 10.4 @ 134. I am a bit down on power (I've trapped 136 before), but would like to get back to the dyno soon. Vids for proof are here...
