I'll give it to him, it's a great looking car! I have heard a couple of race stories, but from what i hear he seems like a nice guy.

well going to a 3:27 would be a little above stock so that would a dumb move. Like I said if you drive it right the car is capable, and not to mention I had the same tires you have and pulled off a 1.91 60' on the kuhmos with a 13.7 ET so dont blame it on stuff like that just learn how to pedal the car better off the line instead of dropping the clutch from 4000 of course you wont get traction you cant blame the car for that.. I had some M/T street E/Ts for 17" rims I would have sold you but they are already gone... those tires hook good but not really the greatest street strip tire out there.. Also do you still have all your emissions stuff on the car, if you remove that, it would give you alittle more I had it off when I ran my times... but it isnt gonna give you almost a second in the quarter

sieght311 do yourself a favor and keep the 3.73's. From the sounds of it you would even be better off with 4.10's considering your planning on doing mild mods. IMHO if your not making over 400rwhp 4.10's are going to help.
Get some ET Street's (not radials) or a nice set of Nitto's which are still rain friendly and hook once heated up.

the Nitto 555's will work as good as ET Streets with a mildly moded car wouldn't they

Like I said im not putting anymore into this 94, im getting my new one and then doing all kids of stuff to it, I was debating between 3.27 and 3.55's. Tires I was going to put out the money and get the BFG DR but I heard they wear out quick. So either the MT's or the Nitto 555r's is what I'd be looking at for my new car.

I'd go with the nitto's but they only last for a good year of abuse

He seemed alright when I ran into him. I've heard he can be kinda "overconfident." When we raced I had a melted vacuum line to my boost bypass valve which resulted in a vacuum leak and little boost and he would jump out on me but I'd slowly reel him in. It's a respectable car, no doubt.

I kind of got the overconfidence vibe when I was talkin to him last night, i'm sure hes not horrible if youre around him for a few minutes. I'd be curious if I got enough to get him

I think he's somewhat cocky when it comes to his car, I don't think he relizes that theres alot of other cars just as and faster than his. It's S/C im guessing he's right at 400 at the wheels, he told my friend once that he thinks he's at 475 but when he talks HP he talks at the rated amount. As in he add's what the motor has stock, then what the S/C said it would add, etc. and came up with the figure 475. He hasn't dynoed it so who really knows, it's definatly quick though, no way around that.

Ya those guys are out there. I guess I just don't feel that confident in a 4.6 GT being able to run an 11 sec. pass simply by just throwing on a blower. No tuning or any other mods at all. just doesn't add up to me but then again I've never owned a mustang. I dunno maybe he is that fast, guess we'll see

Maybe he's thinking of flywheel HP?

no he's 2 valve from what I understand. Even real saleens are 2 valve motors

it is 2V and he claims in runs in the 11s funny thing is he got walked by a low 13 sec car three times, and lost all three. His car feels faster when you ride in it than it actually is I think... He is kinda a dick sometimes but when hes around you he alright, its when hes behind your back that he'll stab you...

Dane from eldridge right? Someone said that it was a terminator converted to a centrifugal. That's why I asked.
He could have made it slow on purpose, then people might think it's authentic. (S281!)

No, that's one of the two brothers with Mustangs that had some "problems" on this board. Both are SC'd, but the sonic blue one is a 4V.
