Wow. Sarcasm taken, man . It wasn't meant as a serious critique and I think I am perfect. We all know my life's all fucked up right now and I can't do a fucking thing about it. All I can do is try to smile and even that's hard most days. I thought I was only giving Doug a little shit...you know...just in fun. More to your comment than just this, though, huh? Don't worry, I PM'd him.

Hey all, just signed up here after learning about this place via the recent fun threads on the IAF. Surprised I never found this place before since most people on IAF are actually from CR/CF/DSM area and I'm in Burlington, much closer to QC than the others + us people from Burlington mostly only go to Cordova. Anyway, brief summary on me and my cars. I don't stay interested in shit for long. I've had a lot of different vehicles, slow->somewhat quick. Nothing fast since I don't stay in a car long enough. I won't go through and post pics of all the cars I'd have, that'd take forever. I've had a total of 17 cars since late 2007. A lot of those were just DD's or cars I flipped though. Here's a list of some of my more favorites including DD's / Projects 1992 Plymouth Laser 1.8L 5spd - only listing it cause it was my first car 2001 V6 Mustang 5spd - i only list this because its how I got into cars pretty much 1991 Formula Firebird 350 WS6 A/T: Mostly stock with basic bolt ons, ran 14.6@99mph 1992 Talon TSi AWD - favorite car I've had, regret selling it horribly. In constant contact with the guy who has it now though and I'm first on the list if he sells it. Ran 12.7@107mph - Did 3 runs and damaged 2nd gear shift fork. Still took it to the track a few more times with the messed up 2nd gear and had to skip it. Right before I got rid of it I ran 14.0@112mph skipping 2nd 1995 Subaru SVX AWD - Listing this because I loved this damn car, but the 15mpg was killing me. Was an awesome car! Got rid of it for my 95 civic dx 5spd which I also sold which was stupid despite me profitting, car was super reliable and got 40mpg all the time. 1999 Camaro 6spd - Only had this one for a few weeks, wasn't enjoying it and I got it so cheap I couldn't help taking an offer I got for it. 1992 Plymouth Laser RS-T AWD: 11.7@123mph - stock headgasket was failing and failed a few days after the track. Was spinning all through 1st due to my near bald street tires. I did a new build on it over last winter to shoot for 10's however I just out of the blue decided to sell it. 1999 Firebird - originally v6 auto, swapped to LS1 / T56. Stock swap at first, then added just basic bolt on's and a Isky custom grind cam. Had it tuned@speed inc. Problem with this car was I was still on the v6 rear end with 3.08 A/T gears in it. Cam HATED them. Ran 12.9@111mph and 13.0@114mph. I actually loved this car and really wish I wouldn't of had to sell it but I actually was forced into selling it. My financial aid got denied after my semester started and I had to figure out a way to pay for my tuition or I couldn't continue any of my classes that required me to use my school's web account which was 3/6 of them. So I listed it not expecting it to sell and it did. Some kid's parents bought it for him. If any of you are in the Grand Rapids area thats where it's supposed to be. Car was super reliable and ran great. What I have now: 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse 1.8L - Bought for $700 for a DD. Gets me where I need to go without much issue. 1991 Eagle Talon TSi AWD 5spd - Bought for a fun winter car but already going to see if I can get rid of it to do something new (foxbody if I can find one) if it doesn't sell soon though I'll keep it through the winter and enjoy it. Me and a bunch of local guys down here go to Cordova a lot, me and my buddies especially try to go to most midnight mayhems since we've been doing good in the import shoot outs. Heres a few pics of my past vehicles: my old 91 firebird my 92 talon tsi awd my 92 laser rst awd my 99 firebird Anyway hope to meet a few of you at the track. I'm really not crazy about going super fast. I like having a car that I can DD as much as I want (usually most of my project cars are my DD except in absolute shit weather) yet have fun with on the street/track. I'm not big on street racing but I do it from time to time. Haha I just like being able to play when I want.

Its amazing that such stock/nice cars like this from 86 are still out there. Looks like a good platform for him to get his feet wet with cars.
