yea I dont know about an 1100. This 750 is badass enough lol. This one is one of the oil cooled bikes. I just have to get the left side fairings and the upper fairing ans windshield and it will be complete.

I don't have nearly as nice a bike as all you guys, but I do enjoy riding from time to time when I'm not working on the cars. I have a 1982 Yamaha Seca XS400, 400cc DOHC twin. I rebuilt the engine a year and a half ago after the cam chain broke and bent some valves etc. but otherwise have not had to do too much with it.

I rebuilt the engine a year and a half ago after the cam chain broke and bent some valves etc. but otherwise have not had to do too much with it. Bought a new bike this afternoon! Its the first vehicle I've ever owned new. Brand new 2008 Buell 1125R in black. Its got the new Rotax motor (not a Harley Motor) and at least to me is "Holy Shit" fast, but I am not accustomed to riding sport bikes so I don't have much to compare it to. I'll post pictures once I have some (been too busy riding to worry about finding a camera!). Amazingly enough it fits my 6'6" frame decently well (nothing else I've sat on came close in sportbikes). And with what these things are going for now, I really couldn't say no. $6200 from Wieblers, brand spanking new with not even 20 miles on it.

Now you just need to resist the temptation to start moding it....aftermarket exhausts sound sweet as hell on those bikes!

Mine came with the fairings on the sides. Normal: With fairing: The fairing looks slick, but hides some of the uniqueness of the bike. I may leave it on for a while and just change it up every now and then.

I picked up a 2009 Ninja 250R today. I'm a beginner, so I'm looking to sharpen my skills on it before I go bigger.

Yeah this thing just fits me great. I'm short so you know how that goes.
I'm awaiting all my gear and helmet which are on order before I take it out. The break in is going to suck. They say in the book I have to keep it under 4,000 RPM for the first 500 miles which is only like 36 MPH in 6th. LOL

i wouldn't worry about that as much as to make sure you vary the rpm and throttle load. idling at lights and traffic is about the worst thing on a new motor. but these are basically indestructable
