Well I figured I'd post an update of what I've been up to. Well the great deal on a NOS AMC 15 Twin grip differential turns out not to be such a great deal afer all. The axles won't slide into the spider gears.
So rather then just undercut the splines on the factory 2 piece axles I decided to bite the bullet and am purchasing Moser axles. And while I'm going to the trouble I might as well address a couple of other rear axles issues at the same time.
- might as well narrow the housing to fit 8" rims on the back with an extra inch of rubber.
-upgrade the puny rear 9" drum brakes to 11" discs.
Today was spent measuring twice so hopefully everything gets done right the first time. The housing is now at Southwick's to get the housing cut, narrowed,and have Ford ends welded on.
They will also supply the new Moser axles that will fit my great deal differential.
Typical Hot Rodding....nothing just bolts together.

 With spring here I figure I better get the Rambler on the road. PowerTour is only 2 months away and I need to find and work the bugs out of the new set up. The rear end is in and the brake lines ordered. And the top end is all together, all That is needed is to weld onthe flange for the Tial BOV to the inlet pipe.  |

I was able to gt the car out of the garage and put a few miles on it. Everything is working as it should.    |

Wish you could have intercooled it though. Thats the only downfall I see for it. otherwise very cool setup

Thanks guys. I happy how things have turned out. I've been driving the car as much as possible to debug it getting ready for Power Tour. We are going to drive 3000 miles in 10 days. Better to find problems now.
