:oa pic of my budget 70 chevelle project..traded my sportster for it that i had for 9 yrs..i had been trying to get this car for the last ten years and finally got the girl who owned it to let it go..was painted about 8 yrs ago but the quality is horrible due to the prep work done, or not done in this case, but the floors are solid as are the rockers doors fenders and frame..she will eventually get quarters and a trunk floor but thats in the future...there was no engine in the car when i got it so i bought a 355 and rebuilt it, 76cc truck heads, flat tops, 282 292 adv duration 465 488 lift cam, 2101 performer(thanks russ), 650 holley, melling h.v h.p. oil pump, high volume mech fuel pump, cheap headders that came with the car, noisy pete jackson gear drive, 7 qt chrome pan, converted to hei with summit 8 mm wires, original turbo 350 with shift kit and boss hogg 2500 stall converter....installed all new brake lines and master cyl, used booster and calipers(thanks randizzle), new umi rear control arms from yates efi, big front sway bar, and wheels and tires that were take offs from yates efi...still have a ways to go before shes road worthy, but have had a great time sofar on this build and my 3 yr old daughter loves to help daddy work on HER chevelle..hope to be cruzing this spring sometime...save em from barns and fields, its a shame to let em sit n rot away Attachments:

dan, as long as i can do a big smoky burnout and maybe run 14's i'll be happy Ha! Yes! I am thinking the same thing about my truck. Sometimes just having something that you can do massive smokers in is fun enough. I had an 85 Caprice with a 305/4bbl. It would do a power brake all day long! That was funny. Pea green...white vinyl top...spoke hubcaps...whitewall tires...straight abusing the right rear tire! ;D

Why don't you just get your car out now. I know you would have to push it wherever you want to go, but that's what you'll be doing when it's done anyway. On the side of the road...Like a Rock! lol

You know better than that! Your car is big pimpin' and will be a cool piece of rolling mayhem when it's drivable.

damn kids and work and wife get in my way of doing shit..seems that diapers and formula are more important than a new fuel tank and lines, or any part for that matter..slowly collecting stuff to stay out from under the beeotches radar: )
