Are you planning on a vacuum pump?

Not at this level... I will build a PCV system for it, should be sufficient at this level

Vacuum pumps are a pain on boosted cars anyways... You have to get some sort of relief valve to let crank case pressure escape. At somepoint the vacuum pump can't keep up.

Most of the pumps kits I have seen come with relief valve that will go inline with the pump.
I am just surprised. Granted my experience is generally limited to blown SBF combos but in that world crank driven vacuum pumps are worth a good bit of horsepower and eliminate a lot of headache. I believe in NMRA Renegade the mechanical type was illegal but many of the guys ran just the little electric ones. Bob Kurgan had an electric air pump off a 4v 4.6L and he said even that weak little thing helped him out quite a bit. I can't remember if you guys said this car was going to get any street time. If so then I would probably just do a sealed PCV as well.

I would just hook a hose to the inlet of that turbo from the vavle cover. That should give you plenty of vacuum without hp loss of another belt.

I think that post was meant to be taken facetiously. I could be wrong though.

Keeps everything lubricated and under large boost( anything over 5 psi) has a nice smoke screen.

Car looks great. I think it needs the old speedline wheels to really go back.

Well after a complicated late winter/spring. We had 3 brand new parts fail out of the box, a transmission that didn't fit correctly, and an engine part that totally threw us under the bus. We made it to the track.
We wanted to be a bit more prepared for the rental, but some strange parts failures really put the hurting on us. So basically we had to settle on just making some shakedown runs for tuning and making sure things were sealed, torqued, and solid. and we were successful on all those other than a throttle cable issue. Once the tune got close, I was able to make one decent full throttle stab and it was enough power to light the tires up 7-800 ft out on the just the wastegate spring
Well now that its essentially finished, I figured I would just post to say thanks to some people. FIRST and FOREMOST I like to thank Doug and Andy Cook without them this would still be in raw pieces of what someday may be some parts to someone Else's turbo car! The time and effort that Doug put into this has been as much or more than his own car. I was able to learn more than I ever would have and be a part of my cars build in a way that no one else could have provided.
In addition to them there are lot of people that have been integral along the way, Brian Jack supplying and bringing parts to us whenever we needed them helping us order stuff and track stuff down. Brandon from helping with a good laugh to helping put stuff together. A lot of people have had a part to get my car where it is now, and i want to thank all of them. Even people just being behind me. Andy S., Joe B, Justin S, Matt C, Trent @ Revhard and his crew. I'm sure I'm forgetting some people.
OH AND NOW ITS TIME TO LEAN ON IT
Andy

glad to hear it's on its way. i know what it's like to keep hitting setbacks during a build. makes you hate your project at times and want to sell out. but now you get to see the fruits of your blood, sweat and rivers of tears. keep at it
