Thanks, guys! Picked it up in Ohio Saturday. Had some real butt pucker moments driving on "lake effect" snow packed roads on bald Goodrich KDWs!!! Did manage to slide and smash a wheel on a curb, but could have been worse: I had just been all but sideways in front of a semi! Doh!
The guy I bought it from does photography as a hobby, so the picture looks nicer than it does in person. It's a great 20 footer! I also had to put my chrome Cobra wheels on it since the tires were junk and the wheels actually way too wide (and bent!)
Oh, it's a 66mm turbo, so pretty small but VERY responsive! Guess it dynoed low 400s on a Mustang dyno at 5-6 psi.

Mines a 100ft'er so a 20ft'er isn't bad at all.

Wow this car seems to have been around the block. Wasn't it for sale last year in Minnesota? Anyway congratulations nice buy. I have a 92 supra that I plan on doing something similar to in the spring. I would love to get a look under the hood of yours to see how the motor sits.

Unfortunately, the Supras are much heavier than the RX7s. Still fun! I could take you for a ride, if you promise to ride in my "Termi" after that! LOL!

Pretty sure I saw ya out on Kimberly today. Told the wife that was a supra with a v8. She was nowhere near as excited as I was.

Nice car Jay. You didn't want to spring for a Mk. IV?

Post by ygetv8 on Feb 19, 2012 16:39:49 GMT -6
Yep, I was out running around today. Now has chrome Cobra wheels on it, which coincidentally (and luckily!) fit like they were built just for it, I might add. I love the Mk IVs Jamie, but you couldn't touch a rusted/beater non-turbo one for what I paid for this.
