The time is almost here! Is anyone planning to go on any part of the Power Tour this year? We're planning to Long Haul in the Rambler. If your going post a picture of your car and we'll keep a look out for you. Todd  |

We haven't set a firm time yet but looks like either Thursday nite or Friday morning.

Post up when you find out. Jesse The plan is to meet up at the Beck's gas station in Geneseo Thursday at 6 pm or so and hit the road at 630. This is the gas station right off I 80 across from Walmart. Then drive to the otherside of Chicago and find motel. If anyone wants to drive along we'll see you there. |

We are booked two nights at the Hilton Garden and one night at the Comfort Inn.
Looks like we will leave Friday morning and head for Detriot. We will cruise to Muskegon and then to Champaign. After hanging out in Champaign we will head back to the QC.
We'll see you there! We are currently installing camshafts, intake, throttle body, underdrive pulleys, tune and new tires on the Mustang. Fingers crossed all is complete in time...

Thanks, guys! We'll be cutting it close. The wheels and tires are done and need put on. The cam install will be finished today. The intake and t-body are at the Davenport UPS and scheduled to be delivered Tuesday. And, I'm still waiting to receive the tune from Brenspeed via email.
Then, of course, we'll have to wash/detail it. But, I'm excited. I haven't done any substantial wrenching for so long. It feels good to be in the garage!!

We are one oil change from being ready! The Ford Racing throttle body showed up damaged... So we will be rocking one extra zip tie for the trip! All waxed up!  And a video of it running with the Detroit Rocker cams!  Jesse |

Today was the best Power Tour ever. Drove some awesome roads in Oklahoma, our group got photographed bt Hot Rod, and went bowling with Year One.

We made it the whole tour with just a few issues -fixed a wiring issue with the cooling fan -stop leak sealed a seeping core plug -replaced transmission pan and a bad trans cooling line -cracked exhaust manifold -and both front inner wheel bearings. But nothing we could'nt handle.  |
