Whats a good place in the QC to take a concealed carry course? I am looking into getting my concealed carry permit but I need a course I can do in a day.
Any recommendations ?

the qcgi place in bettendorf.. i think thats what they re called.. on state street.. my aunts brother teaches there as does the owner and i believe a bettendorf cop.. cost 50 bucks i think.. i'm gunna do mine soon

$50 is a good deal, i need to take mine as well.
There is a place by Lujacks, from what i hear it's around $100 and a 4 hour class.

Gander mountain has them, I took mine and they give you what you need for Iowa and 30 other states. Legal heat is the company.

I'd make sure, the course I took was for Iowa and 30-35 other states. I got a Utah license.

I was told by a good friend that if you have served in a branch of the military and have the proper documentation (I think it was honorable discharge paperwork; "12345" form) that you can apply for the CCP with the Sheriffs office. And, if approved, it was free of charge.
Has anyone heard of this?

I need to get on this before they make it so you have to be 30 to get a ccw, best to get grandfathered in...

Its 80.00 but its really the only time that works for me on a sat and only 3 and a half hours. |

jesse, yes..my buddy i work with just had to bring his discharge papers to the court house in davenport and 50 bucks later he had his cc
