Hey guys a buddy of mine is looking for a Tpi set for his 3rd gen f body. The car currently has a TB 305 and looking to up grade it to a tpi 350. He is looking for either the Tpi set up or an entire motor. Let me know if you have anything. Thanks

I have a setup from an 86 5.7 Trans Am. It isn't perfect, and 95% complete. Missing oddball sensors and a few capscrews, some of the harness will need repaired, but its a good start. I have everything, including the ECM.

Is it a huge price difference to do an ls motor? (Sorry not trying to be that guy, but I was curious)

in a 3rd gen Yes, unless you can find a complete 4th gen pullout.
Most guys seem to use truck engines and have to source all the car accessory brackets, oil pan, plenum and other random stuff from ebay/junkyards/CL. lots of $$$

Always wondered what kept people from doing it. |
