See now we are talking about subjective things. My comment was that hp wins races not torque. So obviously I am talking about maximum effort applications where the car is going to be in the proper gear all of the time. Hence the point of a transmission.

Jamie all this hp over torque your talking has me wondering if the cali ricer scene has you reconsidering you position in the car scene - I don't want to see you coming back and selling your mustang so you can buy all the newest a.p.c. products for a pimped out hyundai - I bet I know a civic that would get beat cause it has a broken diff

Yes we have spools and aftermarket axles also, but our axles have funny wobulators at each end - gotta love em

Torque is great but horsepower wins races. Last time I was on the board. This post was the last one in the thread. I remember reading it and thinking, knowing Jamie was right, "Heh, I wonder how that's going to go." I guess it could have went worse. |
