I don't know if I will be attending this. Randy lives in too rough of an area of town...right at the gateway of The West End and all of its trashy people...plus people say it smells like Ralston Purina down there!

Actually, I heard a rumor that there will soon be "Rainbow District II", but it is only going to be confined to within Randy's property lines. ;D

I wonder if Randy or Greg have any "before and after" pics of the renovation. The place has really come a long way since I first saw it. Randy and Greg, along with a few other people who have pitched in largely, have worked their asses off even just to this point and there is still lots to be done. It will definitely have been worth the time when it is all said and done.

yup, tomorrows the big day, 2 weeks of 18 hour days will finally come to an end. I'll probably be sleeping in the corner - beer in hand!

Starts at 4, goes all night, stop by whenever, I'm sure we will still be hanging out come midnight

I urge everybody who can, you should at least stop by for a few minutes/drinks. Lets all welcome Randy into the business community and kick it off right. Not nut swinging...just saying! This is also a very good excuse for all us to get together for a "meet and greet" and to just hang out, too! ;D

If the weather stays fair I think I'll take cruise through Davenport for something to do and stop at the shop and check it out. I've been wanting to since you mentioned the open house...but don't really know anyone.

Can't wait to come check out the shop again Randizzle. Seems like it's changed big time, since I was there just a month or two back, from the pictures I've seen on the YatesEFI Facebook page. I need to get the car all purdy before I head up, even though it'll probably be filthy again by the time I get there. lol

That was pretty cool seeing Randys new shop. Little room for expansion there too Nice meeting those of you I spoke with while I was at it. All good until I got pulled over just outside Burlington. Supposedly had a complaint of 'inappropriate passing' called in and was pulled over by 3 (THREE) of Burlingtons finest. Said he clocked me doing 64 in a 55 while he was at it. Realistically, he MIGHT have clocked me at 60, but doesn't matter. They 'let me off w/a warning' and to slow down..... Inappropriate passing was 2 cars doing about 40 in a 55 and I even signaled, so oh well. Sorry I didn't do the obligatory 'burn-out' upon exiting, but I save it for the track See ya'll later and SWEET place Foo!
