I haven't had much experience with jdm, these arms are more for improved geometry. These were like 60 bucks a piece, pretty decent I thought. Another jackass (me) got to the floor with a sawzall tonight. I think this go round turned out a bit better than the previous owner. The hole is cut small so I can fine tune it to the odd shape of the shifter. I borrowed some body hammers and gave the floor some pounding and got some of the cuts lined up. I've done a tiny bit of sheet metal welding but this will be learning as I go. Glad its covered by carpet.

A grinder can make any weld look better.

What an abortion, don't expect my resume at a body shop any time soon. Ground it down, got some thin spots. At the very least it is better than when I started. Work in progress.

This project potentially just took a totally different direction.

If all goes well here is the new direction. Not to mention a huge s10 garage sale. 1947 Chevy Aero Sedan

It is pretty solid, supposedly a California car. Put down a deposit so it would get dug out of its hiding place. Going to give it a pretty solid look over before the whole deal is done.

I can't pick it up until at least Tuesday of next week. I have to make sure this thing is legit before I give up on the blazer.

I just don't know about Pre-1960 Chevys. They have no style and nobody likes them.

Forward progress has been slow. I finally got her in the garage last weekend. I haven't really jumped in as I have had only light interest in the blazer and trying to clean house a bit on toys. Trying to free up cash and space for what promises to be a massive project. The 6.0 is fully assembled and keeping my eyes open for g-body frame stub if anyone has one. Only update pic but its a good one thanks to a random vendor at torquefest not knowing what he had.
