well this isnt my main project but it is something i planned on getting back eventually and finally did. some of these pictures i have posted before but i decided i would just do a whole build thread so they are all togeather The car- 89 Mustang Lx has been Mystichrome, BMFL's, and Ubers, car i owned it for 4 years and got rid of it for a year or two car never had alot of attention in the cosmetics department everything seemed to be kind of halfassed on that section of it, performance it ran good for what it was, a pretty wore out bottom end with heads cam and intake it went 12.5 at 110 after i got this car back the guy i sold it to had stripped the interrior to put a cage in and starting to do body work any ways here goes alot of pictures this is the car before i sold it, the picture does make it look pretty good, but whoever painted it didnt do a very good job

of course i couldnt leave the tired 302 in there, so i ended up pulling grass' old shortblock out of my corner and decided to throw that in the car. specs are tfs heads tfs2 cam edelbrock intake 2500 mile forged 306, and 12 psi through a 70mm turbo also found some engine paint that matches the car very nicely heres the motor process 7qt moroso pan These are all my pictures as of right now im kind of at a stand still trying to find someone with a sandblaster to knock all this paint off of my intake. let me know what you guys think

Yeah it should be, it'll be for sale as soon as I get it thrown togeather, I'm not sure if I'm going to cut the cage out or not, seems like a lot of work, but then again the only way id keep it is without a cage

Why don't you like the cage? i think they look tacky and its hard to get in and out of, on the bright side... it keeps the ladies from getting away as easy

yeah didnt your fast and furious honda have a cage? lol if you ever bring that car up again... (landfill comment here) i think someone started to build that as a derby car then put lisence plates on it and that was the reason for the cage... unless low 15 second cars need a cage.
