I looked at them when I bought mine but I just couldn't convince myself to drive a V6 every day...so I went 6.2 gmc

That thing is SWEAT!!! My SHO is about 400 wheel HP, I am running the Livernois Stage 5 tune. With a 3 bar map I get 18 lbs of boost. Reports say the engine can handle a lot more.....
Check out ecoboostownerforum.com think an LMS tuned truck ran 12.7 in the 1/4.

Working on creating a physically larger high pressure fuel pump. However, in the meantime we will be installing a f150 ecoboost in the floozy ( our shop car ) and pushing the limit on boost. If we don't break it on stock turbos we will add some giggle gas and see just how far she'll go.

Just saw an episode of truck u on speed today about the eco boost. They sent the turbos in to some company can't remember who, but they took out the 5 blade rotor and put in a 7 blade rotor with a crazy amount of pitch on the blades. They also got a tune from the same company and put a nice aftermarket exhaust on it.. increased the power quite a bit and apparently doesn't void the warranty.. as a side note, I heard that these are direct injected like a diesel.. is that true?? Never seen the motor on one of these..

You will have to pump a lot of nitrous to blow the thing...... So somebody on one of the boards posted up a test number of 700 hp. Another guy added upgraded turbos and just bumped boost a little. He put down 425/535 tq! He only cranked boost a bit as the Taurus trans is a week link. In an F150 you could crank it way up. At my level (400/425 wheel) nobody has had an A/F problem yet. That said several of us are getting nervous with the direct injection. I have seen one guy try nitrous on one of the boards, ran 12.5 in a flex with it. This board has a few vendors and the moderator is looking for new vendors that want to experiment. ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.phpThe fore mentioned ecoownerforum is about 90% Livernois customers.... They kinda hit the scene first and the hardest. Would be very interested to see what you develop! Do you have an AWD dyno? Maybe interested to see what you develop vs the LMS tech. My car is running the LMS methanol injection which is awesome! That said you can only go so far with it.

Wrong figure. Guy that cranked the boos just a bit got 435/521 wheel. He had an outfit upgrade the turbos and set them at 10 psi each. They are capable of 15 each.... I actually get a max of 18 combined with a 3 bar map with the stockies.
Been searching and I cant find the write up on the "stress test" that I saw before. I found mention of if saying a rod came apart at 700 hp but I cant find the link. I want to say the truck engine has stronger rods, and somebody already developed an aftermarket rod....

Setting up for my daughters first bday. I would be very happy with those kind of numbers.
