I'm contemplating switching to E-85. I was wondering if people are having luck running E-85 through there nitrous plates as far as tuning goes and also if corrosion is a concern. I've also been considering running a separate fuel cell/system and just keeping the spray on race gas, although packaging might be an issue. Thank you for any help/advice.

What is the reason for running the E85 through the nitrous plate?

Through the fuel side of the nitrous plate in case that wasnt clear. So I dont have to mount another fuel cell/pump to run the fuel side on race gas.

A friend of mine has a high compression, nitrous fox on E85 and he loves it. You must up the fuel pill to keep the AFR correct. You need it up it 30-35%. So basically, if you are running a "75 shot", you should be running a fuel pill equal to a "100 shot". Corrosion should not be an issue unless you are using old solenoids.
edit:25-30% not 30-35... Sorry.

Some people will tell you to up it less, however, I like to err on the side of caution. I'd rather run rich with a bit more timing than lean with a bit less.

Sorry. From what i read i am guessing he knows that. But, is wondering how spraying the E85 through the nitrous plate would work. Maybe i am incorecct though lol!

A lot of people have a had great success, heard of a lot of people starting with typical out of the box gas jetting and going from there since out of the box tunes are so rich.

Running a nitrous motor rich is how ring lands go bye bye! I'm not talking overly rich. Brandon - His plugs are fine. Car runs great. NX Kit. He did what you mentioned and started with the recommended jets for fuel and went up. He found his car runs the best the way I mentioned. Of coarse we all know not every car is the same.
