Turbo Dakota R/T blew head gaskets... MLS'd and Studded

Well I had the Dakota procharged and that drove me nuts....

So while I was at it the stock Mopar y pipe was rusted out so I made a new stainless y pipe. And I was always intrigued by rear mount turboing so I did that too. He it turboed for a year or so and blew the head gasket. So this is what has came to be since then.

It sat for a year like that too in a storage area. This is when I got her out. Only had one flat tire.









So I took the heads to machine shop to get looked at... And this is what they found
that times 8....

So they could a fixed it for 775 with pressed in seats and etc etc. so I went to Hughes which is a couple hour drive for me and they hooked me up with some EQ heads. I port matched them and polished. And tossed those on for $900.





Painted the heads


Got some cometics


And studded it

Put on this Holley TB I got last year at Mopar nats for 100 doll hairs!


Made a new charge pipe from the cobbled one before and welded on a tial flange for the bov.


So then I tackled the exhaust again. The headers were shity again so now that I can ceramic coat... I did everything!!!

And while I was at it... I bent a rod in my supercharged mustang so I am ceramic coating all the exhaust on that too. These manifolds really turned out well after I vibratory polished them and polished them with a buffing wheel

Ported my free eBay turbo... Yes I know eBay turbo this or that or the other. But it was a birthday present... And pleastently I am thrilled with it!!! Sounds great. Even my buddy we did a LSx swap and a rear mount on his Sonoma with a master power likes my truck better.





Yea I know looks weird but I couldn't find a f'ing v band clamp to fit the turbo so I said hell with it and added an extension.

Waste gate extension. Not done yet. Wanna run it flush to the bed.
