posting this for a friend of mine This car needs the transmission and rear axle repaired. I've put a lot of time and money into it and I can't really spare the money to fix it right now. Black car, Cobra body kit/hood/lights. CHP Pro Street 331 stroker, forged internals rated to 850hp, 10.5 : 1 compression, 7 qt oil pan with windage tray, block has girdle, afr 185 heads w 2.02 / 1.60 valves , Pete Jackson noisy gear drive, weiand xcelerator intake, demon 750 carb, msd everything, full length mac headers, mac pro chamber, flowmaster super 40s, autometer guages, Weld pro star rims 10 inch in the rear 4 inch wide in front, aluminum drive shaft, and I'm sure much more. Car has about 79k miles, motor about 2000 miles. Worth the asking price as just a parts car even, as the motor cost much more than that to build. I simply don't have the time and resources for the car right now and have other priorities. Not really looking for trades. Call or text Joe @ 563 5 zero 5 7six 7nine. Prefer texts. Thanks 5000$ obo

This car has been on Craigslist forever. At the risk of sounding like a dick (and I'm not trying to be), there is no way in hell he is going to get that kind of money for the car in its current state. If he really wants to sell it for that, he should fix it. Also, the fact that it needs a transmission and an axle replaced screams loudly "This car has had the holy living shit beaten out of it!" LOL Fix those things and he won't have to disclose that anymore. Hell, fixed it would probably bring more money than what he is asking now. Just my thought, but he can do what he wants to with it.

If the right person comes along at the right time, he should be able to get between $5-7k. I got $6k for my red Cobra-cloned '95 the first time I sold it and $5,500 the second time. It was in comparable condition, built about the same, but had a stock motor. I am not talking about Joe Stuhr's or Dan Sime's price THEY would give for it. LOL $5-7k to the right person and they ARE out there.
