I ran a personal best in the GTO of 13.7 @ 100 mph....time for some bolt ons...starting with a new shifter/shifter boot ;D what do you need a shifter for? don't you have a lss? I want a GMM, but I'm so used to the stock truck shifter, that I'm not in a huge hurry. Have you ever felt the GMM? It's absolutely glorious!

My boot got ripped yesterday. I've heard bad things about the GMM's coming apart if you shift them hard, but I think some of it has to do with installation without locktite.

GTO attack... I don't think I've ever seen that many GTOs in one place and that includes a dealer lot. Was very cool... GTO love here.

Just wanted to tell everybody thanks for making this a huge success. Next year when we do this I will be able to relax a little bit more and get some better pics as well as some better runs. I ran a best of 12.95 at 111 with only headers/Corsa and a Predator tune on my 06. If I could launch the damn thing I woulda been in the mid 12's I'm sure. This was a blast and it was nice meeting all of you.

Yeah mine was the red one. My best 60' for the day was a 2.02, I just can not get out of the hole. With the DA corrected that run did turn into a 12.65 at 113. Maybe I will just tell everybody thats what I ran. tspence and Lucky, both of your cars are awesome. Lucky I especially love the spoiler delete and I have a thing for LS1 T/A's. You need a Raptor/Firehawk hood though my man.

The plan it to eventually get them filled and painted permanently now that I've decided I like it without the spoiler. We should try to get all the GTO's together sometime this fall and get a good picture, we have a lot more of them running around here than I though! Also, do any of you guys know who the gal running around in the BOM like mine is? She has some stickers on the hood scoops. I see it around town in Bettendorf all the time, I think she must live or work somewhere down near State St. because I see it over there on the way to work quite a bit.

My DA corrected run went to a 11.85@118 mph and the run was a 12.1 I also had problems getting out of the hole due to me running to high of pressure in my tires. My 60' were 2.0 as well. When I lowered my tire pressure to what it should of been at, I guess I got traction cuz thats when my axle snapped! I would loved to see what it would of gone that run.

At the same time it's interesting to see how the weather screws with your times. I agree you ran what you ran but knowing what you would run in better weather is also fun. You can use this tool.. the track elevation for Cordova doesn't match what Cordovas website claims but it's not going to make a huge difference. www.dragtimes.com/da-density-altitude-calculator.phpFWIW my car went 13.4 @ 104mph on a 2.1 60ft @ 3200DA at Cordova... the conversion was 12.88 @ 108.25mph I ran with -127 DA and only managed 13.19 @ 108.59mph on a 2.1 60ft. The conversion is hard to look at as a fact simply because of variables but it will still let you know if the car is running right, the driver needs work or if it's the weather messing with your times. It's important to treat DA correction like you do dyno numbers. Nothing more than a 'tool' and it doesn't change what you run at the track.

I just need to get my headers, true duals, tune, and a few cosmetic issues out of the way first.

I was following suit of everyone else that was saying what there corrected run was and how bad the weather was. I was simply pointing out how much of a difference weather can play a part not saying my car is really this fast so yes you did sound like a a**hole.
