nothing like a supercharger or nos! but want it to sound healthy i think its ok fast now. but like to dress up motor and inside like gauges etc. i know im stupid im not even sure if i have headers on it lol! ya i said it!

biggest bang for the buck on a 2v would be some gears and exhaust. if its a manual trans, i would do at least 4.10 gears

4.10gears
offroad h-pipe
catback exhaust
and a dyno tune
and leave it alone otherwise your going to start dumping loads of money in it like the rest of us!

thanks everyone! and where would i take to have done as all i do is drive!!!!!!! any price idea? it is a 5 speed has some type of chip in it i think duh told ya at beginning im stupid! flowmasters and cold air intake. i would like to come by someones house to really show me and tell if need.

its probably a handheld tuner if anything, not a chip. Id have maxwells do the gear install. probably going to set you back around $700 or more by time you by the gear and stuff.

Car didnt have a handheld with it but you think it has a tune? Most of the time people return a vehicle to "stock" when they plan on keeping their handheld. Find a dyno tuner and have him take a look / set up a new handheld programmer for you.

I would check it out as I am always game for talking/ upgrading Mustangs but I am probably to far away in Central IL to just hop over some afternoon.

The PI 2V 4.6 is a decent motor that responds well to basic mods. Exhaust and cold air already on is a good start, if you have the coin an aftermarket intake wakes them up. Since it is an 04 it already has the PI heads so I wouldn't mess with a head swap even if you were a seasoned mechanic.

I have a buddy with an 02 running low 13s I think just on a lower gear, cold air, exhaust, and tune. I will verify that at work tomorrow. I remember him talking about an intake swap but dont know if he did it.

well me and my daughter tackeld a few add ons the last two days! nothing major but still proud did them by ourselfs! HOOD STRUTS,BRUSHED RADATOR COVER,CHROME DRESS UP COVERS WITH FEW MODIFCATIONS,WHITE FACE AC/HEAT WITH CROME KNOBS,FRONT END CHIN SPOILER AND SESQUENZEL TAIL LIGHTS WITH DELAY!!!! STILL NEED TO DO WHITE FACE GAUGES FOR SPEEDO AND TOWER BRACE AND PAINT BRAKE COVERS SOMETHING THAT I MAY NEED TO HAVE SOME DIRECTION!

hey man im a big mustang freak i got an 08 gt and my gf got a 00 gt. i just did a GT500 blower swap on mine. and im always wrenching on mustangs or whatever. im kinda busy lately but if you wanna stop by or meet up we can talk man. or come to a QCA mustang meet August 9th at 6pm at Happy Joes/Rudys Tacos in Coal Valley, IL ill be there.
