Car has GT running gear and K-member already, lakewood shocks, struts and eiback springs. I plan on interior and complete harness, computer swap first. I have to change over from manual to power windows to keep door panels and arm rests, just found out they are different. Then going 5 speed and back to factory fuel injection, not sure about underhood. Should I keep A/C and P/S or go manual rack, bear bones? Should be a blast.

I say keep the A/C and ditch the PS. Cool car! Needs a new 5.0 and some 10th Anni. Cobra wheels.

A moment of silence for the 91, it gave all it had. Got the coupe pretty gutted, need to remove the dash cage and wiring harness. I'm swapping the complete harness from front to back along with power windows because the door panels and armrests are different from manual. Car will also have the airbag column and system. Losing tilt but I'm doing the seat mod to the track which moves it back 1.75". Pulling the motor down to the shortblock Going with a fresh T5 I built, a ram powergrip HD clutch and a stock 8.8 with 4.10's. all bearings and new clutches for the posi. Nothing scary in the motor, GT40P heads cut .020, a fresh 3 angle and TFS spring kit, GT40 tubular intake, 51023 lunati, pretty mild at .522/.522 and 215/224 on a 112, FRPP 1.6 roller rockers, BBK shorties, BBK X-pipe and flowmaster CB. Should be a lot of fun on the street without idle issues. Got fun underneath today. I'm installing a new tank/straps with a 255 in case a little boost is in the future. The PO had removed the right side bulkhead for the tank to rest on so I had to cut out the spot welds and remove it from the 91, blast it and weld into the coupe. Got up early this morning and got down and dirty all day getting this undercarriage void of undercoating. I love zero rust but its not fun taking this stuff off. Got the back cleaned and scuffed and epoxy gray to match original primer. I'll have to finish the floor pans later. I'm blasting the rear diff next and installing it with new tubular control arms and probably H&R sport springs, don't want it on the ground just maybe 1.25" or so.

New things happening. Using gt40P heads I pocket worked and added a TFS spring kit and set the springs at 140#, milled .030. GT40 intake, a mild Lunati 51023 cam, pulleys, 1.6 ford racing blue rockers, hardened pushrods, ARP bolts, BBK ceramic shorties, BBK X-pipe, FM catback, ram clutch, pullies, 24# injectors, typical stuff. Got the 8.8 blasted and painted, using 3.73 gears, tokico shocks and struts, H&R sport springs for about 1.25 to 1.50 drop, SVE rear control arms, Ford racing aluminum drive shaft, rear disc brakes with front disc from 04 GT with PBR calipers and 94 spindles up front. Got the fuel lines done up front and ran new brake lines over to right side with original V8 brackets. Installed new tank, straps and added a 255 intank, I need to make steel lines to the back and build the nylon lines like original. Picked up a clean set of '99 cobras which I really have always had a soft spot for with like new tires for cheap. Its what prompted the 5 lug setup. These things seem to get a mind of their own where they want to go. I have gathered all the black interior but thats last, have so much more before interior.

Yeah, I'm up and down on it. Have to wait and see. Silver wheels on a silver car may need it.

Got some hours in this weekend. Cleaned, retaped an installed all rear and in car wiring harness', computer and its harness, heater box with new heater core, cruise control, dash frame and harness, plugged in all wiring in car, cleaned/painted/installed booster, throttle cable, quick click clutch adjuster kit and installed steering column. Also got the 5 speed tunnel cover ready for install, moving fast on this thing. I have to install front light harness and air bag sensors. I'm using a 94-95 master and a 3-2 conversion kit with adjustable prop valve. Will be nice to work on the engine and get it ready, thats what I really love. Junk in the trunk, BBK ceramic coated shorties, prothane motor mounts, power window regulators, can't wait to install them.
