Having idle issues. Running 60lb injectors and did the calculation but its for a lean idle. Also running a slp Maf so I think I need to recal that and adjust ve. But some people say to go to sd. But it's only 7 psi.

Couple of things.
I have heard of people having issues with that slp maf. In fact I remember like 5 or 6 years ago when I did my cam swap on my ls1 Camaro I took it to Speed Inc. Jim Moran their tuner was hesitant to tune it and wanted me to put a stock maf on it to do so. Luckily he was able to but he said that maf had caused him lots of issues before.
I would look at the basics (you probably already have) like base fuel pressure at the rails, make sure your throttle blades are adjusted so your IAC isn't going crazy trying to balance things out. What are your IAC after start up and warm?
Personally my Mustang (3 bar map with 80lb injectors) and a few other cars we have done are SD and have noooo idling issues. My Mustang has a fairly decent sized cam and idles much better than my old cam only maf setup. I think SD is more than ok for setups especially if you have a VSS for deceleration enrichment and that stuff. May not get every ounce of fuel economy out of it but takes a lot of variables out of the equation and makes your life easier.

Excuse my ignorance, but, what do you mean by "SD"?

I agree with Patriot. Start with the basics and try and verify sensor output. Make sure all your input's are making sense.
I'm fairly used to SD now and prefer it on a strip car.

I think my injector offset/voltage is off. Gonna try Maf but I have a 2 bar map on the way just in case

Not to jack this post at all but my T/A spent some time on the rollers at speed inc getting the SD tune and the idle isn't right. Sometimes I'll roll to a stop and push the clutch in and the motor will hang around 2K until I tap the throttle to knock it back down. Also, sometimes it'll hang at 2K going down the road too and literally drive itself like cruise control.
Does that sound like something simple or need to break out the laptop to diagnose?

That could be multiple things... Def need to crack the laptop open to see what is causing it.

Mine has always done the same thing on multiple speed inc base tunes. I am way past due for buying hp tuners and getting into tuning

I bought the complete courses from thetuningschool.com and they are looking at my tunes now. Looking at flying down there to attend one of their seminars too. That includes actual hands on training in a car on a dyno.

I'd rather take Greg Banish's class. I already attended one of his Advanced Ford classes for SCT and he really knows his stuff.

Who is that? And where is his classes? Thanks He is a calibration engineer for General Motor's and also a former shop owner. He is a very knowledgable tuner and especially when it comes to GM products. Here is his website: www.calibratedsuccess.com/If you've done some reading and you understand the basics, take the advanced course. But if you are just beginning take the basic one first. It's worth every penny.
