no Towelly thats fine, thanks!! yeah that car ran pretty good, in our little community of these cars we have a 1/4 mile times data base... and this car holds the title of quickest SBE automatic... mildly tuned up trans, slightly massaged head, 46 trim .63 hot side turbo, running a 3 bar tune and 55LB injectors... sadly that car was dissassembebled and the shell was sent to the crusher last spring bought this little Jem for 100 bucks out in NJ, soo took a trip in september... it worked!! sweet, but damn is it big!!

always thought a spirit r/t would be a cool street sleeper. not sure how quick the stock driveline on those can get reliably

^^ um that drive train, stock trans, stock bottomend and stock head have been known to put down 400-450 hp... no joke and upwards of 500 ftlbs... of course big turbo and supporting fuel... but a stock, bone stock spirit RT 16V with some minor free mods will land in the low 13 high 12 second range... that was the best of the old headgasket eating 4cyl motors that chrysler made back then, the 2.2L 16V TIII drive train along with the A568 FWD trans
this is Jackson Simlers car out of monroe wi, 93 daytona SBE stock headed car with a holset... same drivetrain setup offered in the Spirit RT

thats pretty cool, yeah their nothing new, their just unheard of... ive been into these little shit boxes since 2000 when i got my first one.... but ive heard stories at like car shows from guys who have... "been around awhile"... u know back in the 80s when they were cruising around in their like 87 LX notch back and a little omni pulled up at a light type of stories...
