So, I finally decided to sell my '93 GT that I'd had for 10 years. And I only sold it because I wanted to find something that I've always wanted even more. I found this car in Des Moines on Craigslist. As the title says, it is a 1991 Saleen and it is #39 of 92 cars produced by Saleen in '91. It has never had any accidents and has always been garaged. Absolutely no rust and newer paint and all of the correct Saleen decals. There have been a couple of odd things that this car has seen. At one point in time it had a 9" in it. Nobody seems to know why, but the correct rear disc brakes from Saleen were transferred to the 9" at that time. (A correct 8.8" with 3.55 gears has since been put back into the car to make it correct again.) That, and the previous owner that I got it from in Des Moines removed a few of the hard-to-find Saleen goodies. (He sold the correct shift knob, correct Hurst shifter, correct Saleen floor mats, correct Pioneer tape deck and EQ, and removed the A/C that WORKED!!!!) Oh well, I have already purchased a correct shifter and knob, all new carpet, and I have the A/C to put back on. I'll try to keep this updated as I go along. Since the car is in my garage, I'll post pics of the car from about a year ago when the car was in Kansas. (The guy in Des Moines didn't own it very long....Just long enough to bring the value down by selling rare parts.)

She's a little crusty, but I'll clean her up. Correct Hurst shifter going back in. NOS AMCO (Saleen correct) shift knob. I also ordered the correct shift pattern button that will go on. Old hatch carpet I think someone was murdered back here. LOL New hatch carpet installed. That's it for now. It's cold in my garage. ;D
