wow, that would be fun. But, there is no way i'd put my junk in that. I saw a lot of ghini, ferrari and corvette owners have signed up. I'm guessing some shop cars and deep pockets will be running... should be interesting. Your junk would have done pretty well I think...should have signed up.

What an absolutely awesome day and experience! Everyone out there was a pleasure to talk to and the variety and amount of cars was staggering. A lot of GTR's, a 1500hp Superleggera, couple turbo Ford GT'S, 458 Italia, 430 Scuderia and a million Vettes and Mustangs and various imports.
The Z was running perfect and pulled like a freight train once it was in 3rd and above. Went there with a goal of 160mph that i thought wasnt possible and realistic goal of low 150's. First pass of the day was 160.69mph. My fastest of the day was 164mph.
Videos when i can get to it!

Here is a run against a 2012 BMW M6. It was modified and had a flat black paint job. I know it had exhaust, but no idea what else. I ran my best pass on this one at 164mph to his 147mph. Couldn't have asked for more from the car, the grip was there. A little spin in first while moving forward and quickly squeezed it to the floor. Didn't feel any spin in 2nd.

This is definitely an event to put on the schedule to try and make next year guys. I have never been to an event where there have been so many exotics actually being driven. Had to have been close to two dozen GTR's just on Sunday alone...it was unbelievable. We spent the majority of the day when we weren't racing with guys that have cars that cost more than my house...and almost all of them were relatively cool and die hard car guys.
Although the Ferrari guys didn't want any part of DemonZ when they saw what he was running for speeds...they were suddenly both too tired to race anymore.

Those guys with the Ferrari's just ripped on them. I don't think I'll ever see a 458 Italia get beat on so hard again in my life. Every time he had a straight stretch of road he was laying rubber.
Yeah, this was a total bummer. The 458 Italia, 430 Scuderia, and Murciellago all said no after asking what I ran. Next year, I'm sandbagging the entire day.

To be fair...you kinda scared the shit out of them when you pulled up to the gas station and your whole passenger side of your car was covered in deer blood...

I watched Saturday, and ran Sunday. It was a blast, I plan to go next year. I only managed 151 mph in my C5 corvette, but beat the M6 and a Viper also. I'm going to shoot for 160 mph next year.

Jessejay, you out of the QC area? What's been done to your C5? LOL! I'm originally from the QC, but live in Coralville. Pretty sure we meet on Sunday! My car has a A&A V3si setup with 3.8 pulley, 3:42 built rear, Yank PAS 3200 Stall, Built Trans, Line Lock, Hawk HPS bads, EBC Rotors, SS Brake lines, Bilstein sport shocks, 6 pt cage, 5 pt harness, Corbeau Forza seats, Borla Exhaust. I run Speedline Z06 wheels... and my best run was on MT ET Street Radials 275/40/R17, at about 28 PSI. Traction was a real issue off the line, so I had to adapt to conditions. I've got a meth system, A&A secondary drive, and 3.6 pulley to still go on. So, that's where I hope to get most of my extra MPH from. Also, need to work on my shift points. The trans seems to like to "Granny Shift" into fourth, and I also have a lot of more RPM go in top of 2nd and 3rd. In the videos you can see I manually shift to 4th to get it to higher RPM before 4th. I was at the QCAAF track day last year, and hope to go again! So PLEASE have track day different weekend, preferably before Chicago so I can get ready for event! Here are my runs I managed to record before killing my battery by leaving camera on.
