I replaced the seals because I had a caliper sticking and the are still sticking. Any ideas? Should I just go buy some and replace them or can you tear them down and get them repaired somewhere I the area? Braking is solid but you can feel them dragging. When I replaced pads the other day the outside pads were nearly gone and the inside pads had a lot more life left.

Fronts? Rears? Original Equipment?
Edit: Looked it up on RockAuto just because. You can get reman's from RockAuto.com for $34 with a $50 core charge with bracket.

Original ones at the moment..just the fronts. I think I'll pick up some C5Z powder coated ones if I have to replace these. The cost isn't tremendous and I planned on doing a brake upgrade later on anyways. Figured maybe there was a way to get these working again until I was ready. Thanks!

Or you can spend a few bucks more and do the CTSv/5th Gen swap. I know I really like it, and it works well.

Correct me if I'm wrong but both of those would require larger than a 17 inch rim?

You are correct, but with some creative grinding on the CTSv caliper... you can get them to fit inside of a 17 inch wheel. There is a rather long thread on tech about it. I think my whole setup cost around $650 and that was with the machine work done as well to the rotors.

On side note, what was your best run at the track rental? I was always going to ask you to run, but I was trying to teach my dad how to race his Corvette.

Not bad at all.. I will have to look...17s are the biggest I want to go... and I have my eye on the C5Z front rims to keep the weight close to my current rims. I didn't run at the rental, I'm waiting to get a wide band on the car and sort the tuning out before I run it. I'm kicking myself for not running though... DA was great for this time of year..won't get weather like that again until fall I bet.
