Anybody in the area running a G6XE cam in their LSX car?
Preferably a C6 or C5 Vette, but anything would do.
I'm hoping to get a little more insight on the drivability and opinion of this cam from someone whose had some time with it.
From trolling other sites, this cam seems to make great power without terribly sacrificing driveability. Most people I've spoken with have seen minor surging below 1600 rpm...but very livable and controllable with a good tuners attention.
I do track days and AutoX several times a month, road trips, and daily drive the car. It makes a couple passes down the drag strip a year at best and a couple 1/2 mile shootout runs, so I'm a lot more interested in the power being usable on the road coarse rather than the drag strip.
Any other input or thoughts would be appreciated.
And if anybody's running that cam, I'd love to swap a 6-pack for a ride to see how the cam feels in real world driving.
