Need help - my niece has a 98 Explorer Limited with AWD. Heat gauge is stuck on hot and electric fan runs. Even after the vehicle has sat and is cold. I am not at the vehicle - so I am trying to help her boyfriend diagnose over the phone. I told him to disconnect/reconnect the battery in hopes it might reset something. Any other diagnostic advice would be helpful and appreciated.
