i have a 302 out of a fox body mustang. converted to carb from EFI.
i was given a bellhousing to match, clutch(and cable) and a 4cyl mustang tranny. i bought bolts, flywheel block plate and shift fork. its all ready to be bolted together except im not sure how the slave cylnder works.
its all going into a nissan pickup. i would like to use cable if possible..i think. not sure what is easier. i have the cable.
can someone help me out here with pics or suggestions. not sure what attaches the cable to the shift fork. shift fork needs a ball type rod to it ??(prolly for a hydro dealy) how is the cable held to the bell housing/trans?? i googled. cant find pics other than homemeade goofy stuff.
and does anyone happen to have the 6 transmission bolts for this motor from bell housing?
also. the bell housing bolts to the trans via bolt and nut?? no threading? so i cant bolt the bell housing on then the trans? man that woudl be alot easier

hmm seems as though i dont have that tang on the bell housing to hold the cable. il have to make a bracket then. i have teh flywheel/clutch on. i had the clutch fork on the pivot ball and bell housing mocked up on the block. il have to source more parts. throw out bearing/cable spring....i could jus convert it to hydro. would prolly be easier
