Anyone going? I will be at the track for the T&T, and if the car is running good I'll probably stick around for the MM. I haven't been to one all year, so I don't even know if they are worth going to. Any input?

I normally avoid them because of the 'crowd' that used to go. Maybe it's improved?

I can't remember the last time I ever went to MM. I actually enjoyed going because of the crowd. Also, I would NEVER run my car for the same reason. I always just drove in with my Grand Am I had and watched the mayhem.  |

I'm going to test and tune. Thinking about running MM at least a few test hits so I can get a dirt road boost controller map setup for KOTS in a few weeks.

I went to the last one they had. It seemed to be just like a country concert at the mark or any county fairs. Not what it used to be as far as the shit crowd. Racing on the other hand cordova has put a lot of effort into making this event more of a fast and furious deal than a actual fast street car shootout. I was considering trying my shit box for t&t and if I did not have a 2 piece block thought about sticking it out.

Well thats good to hear. Im hoping the heat turns a lot of people off of the t&t, but im sure MM will be all sortd of packed with how the weather will be

Yeah I couldn't deal with the drinking and fights. Last one I was at some kid passed out at the fence so I went to check on him and he was completely trashed. Bad mix IMHO.

I should be back in town so im planning to take the s10 out for some baseline runs with the new 6 speed.
It will be my first time running a stick car at the truck so it could be interesting.....

There's no bar..you just bring whatever you want and drink yourself stupid... as long as the cash comes in it doesn't matter. The first year they put those on I remember seeing kids I knew were no where near the drinking age living it up, I doubt that it's changed in that regard either.

I can't believe they completely turned the clocks off. At least before you could see MPH. Now it is just an endless procession of shit-boxes with nothing to show for.

Most of the time the stoners at the booth handing out slips give you the wrong ones anyway. I ran mine there a couple times because I usually cant make a test n tune with my work schedule. Not being able to break out of the 13's made me feel like a loser. And the dumbasses walking around try to talk to me because a 13 second trans am is fast in their world. Makes me feel like a tard. I will be there tonight. But only to watch since the POS is broken again. . Ill be there for the beer and the bitches
