Ive got a new set of front coils springs I need compressed so I can wire them,then install them on my front end. Ideas?

^^^That sounds dangrous. What kind of car are you working on? Most rear wheel drive cars you don't need to compress the springs to install them. On a lot of cars its easiest to leave the upper and lower balljoints connected and place a floor jack under the inside/rear edge of the lower control arm. Jack up the jack to take the pressure off of the control arm bolts and remove them. Be VERY careful the springs are under A LOT of pressure. Now slowly let the jack down and you should be able to remove the springs. To install reverse the procedure.

I believe I rented a spring compressor from Autozone when I changed my springs out on the Camaro.

I own a spring compressor for a McPherson strut type spring. I would think that should work if you'd like to borrow.

Buddies got 1 thanks Jesse. Yeah was thinking ass backwards as far as a taller spring. Got it the old fashion way with the floor jack. Thanks
