I just looked at Summit's site for the first time in a couple years and it seems like a shell of their former self. Granted, I was usually shopping for a 4th gen Camaro or an foxbody Mustang the last time I was there, but compared to then they have a much smaller selection of parts and brands. Is that the same experience anyone else has?
I see JC Whitney has a few more, but I've been discouraged from buying from them after taking advantage of their "free shipping" deals but paying $20 in handling. Other than Summit, JC Whitney, Autozone, and Winner's Circleâ„¢, I don't have many places I've bought from. How about you all?

Thanks for the reply; I hadn't heard of Tick Performance before and had forgotten about Texas Speed.

Yates Efi is where I will be getting all my parts for now on. Randy is extremely knowledgeable and his customer service is top notch.

A lot depends on what kind of car are you buying for. If someone was looking for performance parts for a hhr they prob wouldn't look the same place as someone looking for parts for a coyote.

I've used most all listed with good results. Winners Circle, Yates, Car Shop, Speed Inc, Summit, Jegs, JC Whitney, Ebay. Then you'll have your model/eng platform specific companies like mentioned earlier that you can deal with.

Brenspeed is a great resource for Mustang stuff. I've had nothing but good experiences with them over the years.

Personally I'm looking at Mustang stuff, but part of my motivation for asking was to get people sharing where they shop, regardless of make/model. I'm curious who the popular guys are these days.

So far for mustang stuff ex specially valve train parts Jordan at excessive racing has saved me a ton of money on parts. Typically at least 100 on valve train items over summit prices

For Mustang parts I use www.lethalperformance.com a lot. They usually have awesome deals and send you 10-20% off coupons every so often.

Depends on the part but usually Summit for random stuff (fast shipping), Magnum Force Racing for header tubing, occasionally Jegs, ebay and Craigslist..
If it's too expensive I just make it most of the time.
