93 Octane Quad CIty Area

Where are you guys running 93 octane tunes buying your gas from?  I have been datalogging and lots of gas stations are apparently ripping me off. I am getting lots of knock sensor activity.  Just curious where the go to solid gas station is.

I have found Shell 93 to be pretty consistant. I usually get it at the Kennedy Drive station in East Moline.

I agree. When I found and ran BP 93, my AF was awful on my '07. I ran Shell 93 after that and never had a problem. It seems many Shell stations carry 93.

Shell on locust (dit timers) is pricey but they sell non ethanol 93

Thanks for the help guys.  Yes shell vpower seems to be the best gas in the area.  That's what I always buy but I switched to bp to see if it solved my problem and it was worse.  You would think that bp gas would be the best due to fresh fuel coming from that massive refinery located in Chicago/Indiana but it's just not true at all.  My remote tuner is based out of Cali so I might just have to accept that the gas quality out here in the corn fields is slightly lacking in comparison and 1 or 2 degrees might need to be pulled out.

I have never found fuel to be better in SoCal. I don't think you can even get 93 out there much anymore.

I've been getting 93 from Shell in Hillsdale... says no alchohol on the pumps and I've been running 28 degrees of timing with no knock. Seems to be pretty good.
