I need to do a couple test hits and looking for good concrete surface on the East side of Quad Cities. PM me if you know of any good spots. I have one that I can trade with ya if needed. I just hate to test in the same spot.

Not a cop. Anyone been to Cordova can see my car run. Its the trans am with a v6. Been shaking it down at the track and tired of blowing the tires because of lack of prep.

Lol... You missed my point if I can get it to hook on the street, I can get it to hook on a sloppy track. I hooked pretty good the other night after a few adjustments. Cars just reaching full extension and unloading the tires 10ft out. oh, and sorry I didn't introduce myself..... My name is Bo

I got my '89 to hook pretty well street/strip after installing some LCA relocation brackets and tubular LCA's. With a 4K stall and 11.5" slicks I broke the 10 bolt launching at Cordova. That was with a 214ci V6.

I have all the goodies suspension wise except adjustable shocks. I'm rolling on 30x12.5x15 ET Street Bias ply's with a Strange Dana 60 rear w/3.54 gears. I exploded my Aussie 9 bolt on a test hit in the street and it literately was like a bomb went off...lol had just a few 1.5 short times before it started whining. Changed the combo around and added more boost and it's whole new game now.

I'm sure he'll have the same problem soon enough, lol.

Are you looking for a place that you can prep and do multiple passes or just somewhere you can go and do a couple of launches?

I'm sure it's mine... very rare to see another one on 84. I drive through PB on my daily commute. Just look for red and white plates instead of the normal IL ones.

Well there are very few locations that allow that and the known ones are jealously guarded.

I've heard 416 N. Harrison St. In Davenport is pretty good for that, as well as 1640 6th Ave in Moline, whichever is closest should give you plenty to play with.
