any ideas why my front tires shake very badly after launch? only pulls the front a little.

Sounds like a bump steer issue. Check the angle of your tie-rod compared to the angle of your lower control arm. They should both be on the same angle. If not, you need an adj. bump steer kit to adjust the height of the tie-rod at the spindle.
