Before the engine rebuild on my '03 SSR (supercharged 5.3), the Jones glasspacks on a true-dual system were perfect, giving me a great sound and very little resistance.
Now that the engine has been rebuilt with performance heads and cam, the sound is considerably louder, especially the explosion on a cold start.
This is creating problems in my neighborhood; so although I really like the sound, I need to tone down the volume a bit, but I don't want to hurt the performance (HP).
I have had three mufflers recommended so far: Magnaflow XL Turbo, Flowmaster 50 0r 70, and Flowmaster Hushpower.
Please advise me on a pair of cylindrical mufflers to replace my Jones glasspacks that will decrease the volume while not affecting performance (much).

Good news - the neighbors said that they are OK with my truck - for now.
