I'm past due for an intake de-carbon on my BMW N54.
I can take it to the dealer but they charge about $200/hr, plus $50 for a gasket (~$850 total).
I can buy a N54 walnut blaster kit myself for about $150, plus $50 for a gasket and ~$200 for my own labor, for a total of ~$400. Here is the DIY:

I've been told other shops typically do this service for ~$350 in labor and $50 for the gasket...about the same price as if I did it myself (assuming I got paid for my labor).
Does anybody in the QCA offer this service?
