I'm about to glue the bucket back together for my Walbro swap in my 94 Z and I want to know if I should remove the little black rubber check valve that is in the inlet of the bucket. If I leave it in there and glue the bucket back together, it's in there for good. So it would be nice to know if I can remove it or if it serves a real purpose? Anybody know?? Thanks in advance.

if the 94 is the same as the 93 setup in the tank , i ditched the whole bucket. i used large bandclamps and a peice of rubber to attatch the walbro to the long metal arm. this worked great for me. kev

Yep, white with a cowl hood. What I ended up doing with the pump was reuse the bucket and for the hose I ended up cutting a piece of 3/8 line to length and warming up the ends and pushing them onto the pump outlet and the snap fitting. I then clamped the ends and it worked out just great.
