I seem to remember a local place that does header coatings similar to Jet-Hot... anyone have any idea what the name of the place is?
It was posted on one of the Fbody sites a while back... but i think they have forum pruning enabled so searching isn't as easy....
Thanks for any info

J&C Premier Concepts 1506 N. High St. Port Byron, IL 61275 309-523-2344
I had my long tubes coated by Jim and I really like the results.

Same here. Quality job. Fair price. And being local is great if you have a problem.

$125 for my long tubes. I had it done in the high temp matte black coating. I think that is cheaper than the sterling.

Not to hate, I like jim and all but I have had both sterling and matte black done. Both started rusting through within a year and looking like ass. I have also had jet hot and they lasted much longer. Jet hot is actually just about the same price wise as jc for the long tubes.

Jet hot is 450 plus shipping two ways, and that was for the matte black finish. I had my long tubes qouted at that price one year ago.

Sweet, Good info. Thanks! Well, since our offer was accepted on a house it looks like i might just have to take my sandblaster to them and give them a few coats of hi-temp paint.
