Has anyone installed a Dual Electric Fan on their Fox Body Stang? I was wondering what the best size would be and where to get one localy. I am assuming the Car Shop or Winners Circle or if possibly Auto Zone or Advanced would have a cheap one that would still work lol. Thanks.

OK I was wondering how you fit them both until you said a pusher and a puller. Currently I have a pusher and a flex fan and it runs 205-210 if i am moving but when I stop it quickly will raise to 230. Before I put on the Cobra Grille Delete it was normally at 230. The chrome Headers probably don't help.

I have a dual fan setup on mine. Got it from www.ramchargers.com years ago so forget what size it is, and the page isn't loading right now.. but they work great. It comes already setup with all the wiring and everything to make things as easy as it can be. Has high and low settings, the high will push your hand back when in front of it, even the 'low' keeps the car cool and temp doesn't move in traffic when it's hot like today. Forget what the flow is, damn website! I think the setup was around $200 something.

I would do either a 3.8 Taurus fan or the Mark VIII fan. Junkyards are your friend.

Thanks everyone. I have a 180 thermostat in my car right now. When I got it the car had a 160 in it but had been told by several people that that is too low because it would just constantly stay open. Before I go out and pay $200 for a fan I will check junk yards. I know I have seen some 4 banger Hondas with stock dual fan's on them. The 15" fan I have on it right now just isn't cutting it. It's an Imperial brand fan which I believe is sold at Advanced but not sure.

When I had my 160 Thermostat in it ran about the same that it does now but then again it was the fall into winter and I had a closed grille. Which that damn thing seems to be a pain in the ass lol. The 2 sided tape they sent me with the Cobra Grille Delete came loose so I have to take it off and make the hole bigger and probably use a bolt or something to hold it in place. Thought it was gonna fall out yesterday on my way back from Advanced in D-Port.
