The engine surges/shutters. New plugs, fuel pump, fuel preasure reg, fresh cleaned injectors, new O2's. The air/fuel ratio drops lean then comes right back.

The fuel pump is a Granatelli and it is 4 weeks old. It hasn't had a tank of gas through it yet.

lol... i dont wanna sound dumb, but i thought my firebird back in the day had a surge, ended up being the posi coming apart. It didn't sound or feel like that type of problem. Finally one day I layed her to the wood from a stop and sure as shit it locked up, broke the diff in 7 spots and split the driveshaft in half.

Cleaned the engine bay latly? Once I got a bit of water on my opti and the car ran like shit for a few days, it ended up drying out and its running better than ever now.

hold on let me guess, You put bosch o2s in it. Bosch are known to be bad out of the box sometimes. could be a bad IAC motor, bad MAF, etc. #1 most commonly blamed problem that is most likely fine (unless you run above 6000 rpm), is the opti.

The computer was puting out an intermitant signal for the #5 injector. New computer with tune on the way from madz28.com. Thanks for bashing the opti though guys.
