Still not completely sure what caused it but it sure did spin a bearing...

#4 nicely tucked under itself...

Damage to the crank...

my droplight makes it look worse than it really is but the plan is to either drop this crank and get it polished or find another one to stick in there...

Anyone have a 981 casting GM V6 crank? older 3.1, 3100 and 3400's...
