Anyone have one half inch. What model do you have. I'm tired of changing from street to strip and back with just a 4 way.

A guy I work with has the snap-on and I was actually surpised with the power that it has. From what I was told from another friend you can change about 8-10 rims before it goes dead.

I personally prefer the Makita brand cordless-impact. It works great for me. I have heard great things about the Dewalt cordless impacts also. Both Are much cheaper than the Snap-on but I would not rely on just the cordless for tightness i still would use a torque Wrench to set the proper torque.

the snap on is an actual 1/2" impact the dewalt is just a standard apex so it would not be the best for lug nuts but it is still a great tool to have I love mine

The dewalt is nice snapon is not so nice. I saw a snapon jsut start smoking while not being used makita is nice too, it's been a while since I ahve a makita but I here they are just as nice as dewalt. I would go with the dewalt 18 volt the heavy duty one. Oh it looks like dewalt has a 36 volt now too, either way the one with the rocker switch is the way to go. I have never used any of these 18 v or higher because I have to carry mine all day so I used the 14v and 12v.

Yeah but no one works as hard as you so we don't have to worry about ours smoking.
