Are there any reputable places to take a car around here to do an installation of a couple auxiliary gauges? I am thinking about doing a 2 1/16" Auto Meter wideband and a 2 1/16" Auto Meter DPSS digital tach and shift light. I'd mount them both in an a-pillar gauge pod.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm not sure that I'll go through with it due to the high cost of the gauges themselves, but it'd be something to think about.

Do simple installs like that yourself.

I'm afraid I would screw it up. I'm a professional computer tech, but automotive electrical systems are tricky business.

If your afraid, just call up a few friends that you know can do it, its much more fun to hang out and work on cars than sit in a waiting room for 100 dollars a hour while some rookie fucks up your cars wiring harness trying to install gauges.

Yeah that's the problem. I'm not willing to lay down the cash for an installation unless the person doing the work is knowledgeable and experienced.
It sucks that we don't have a real Mustang shop around here like Modular Powerhouse or Mustang Magic.

Well that depends on how much he likes you and or is motivated. But yeah usually. If you get ahold of BaseOp on here he will probably call him for you, as I don't think Dave checks this site very often.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll have to think it all over and weigh out the total cost and make a decision on it.
