I was reading the pamplet I got at the auto show over the weekend, and everything looks great. There is obviously a helluva lot more room in that building that it looks like from the outside.
One thing I'm curious about, is do they do Mandrel Bending? I've been wanting to do a custom exhaust for my Eclipse, but I don't want to go have my pipes pressure bent if I can have them Mandrel Bent instead, and I don't know anywhere I can have that done around here.

Why wouldn't you just buy a high quality cat-back?

i've checked all around the quad cities, nobody except 1 place has a mandrel bender and i highly doubt they'd let anyone use it...
I just buy the tubing from online places, last time i bought a whole bunch of mandrel U bends to build headers with.. had enough for 2 sets and only paid like $150

We currently do not have a mandrel bender, we build the custom exhaust from mandrel U and J and 45 bends and mig weld ( tig welding will be an option in 2 weeks ), available in mild steel or stainless

Why wouldn't you just buy a high quality cat-back? Because to me, piping is piping. Unless the metal is absolute shit, you're going to end up paying a helluva lot more for a name brand catback such as GReddy or HKS (500-700) than you would if you pieced it together yourself (200-350), yet it's going to do the same job.
