hey jamie i was wondering how you like your c4 in car? im trying to decide if i want to go that route in my new setup...i helped ben put yours in and it was a pain in the ass to do but other than that do u like it?

Well I think the biggest pain with mine was probably the fact that the headers are for a 5-speed car although they do still work well.

I like quite a bit. I only got to drive it for 3 days or so but from that I can tell that it was significantly faster than when it was a 5-speed. I never had the blower on it so I don't know how it will feel. As the convertor was custom for a blower I am sure I was losing a little there.

I think that the biggest thing to keep in mind is the convertor. I went all out and ordered a custom convertor for my combo and I think it paid off. In fact the convertor cost just as much as everything else including the trans added together.

But I think a manual valve-body auto with the right convertor is damn near impossible to beat. But don't forget the AOD, its twice the trans the C-4 is when it is built right plus you get overdrive.
