Anyone interested in meeting up at Cordova this weekend? Thinking about heading there with a buddy to watch the cars run for a few hours. Looks like it's open for racing from 12-4pm. Weather is suppose to be nice also.
Anyone interested? If anyone from the QC area is considering it, we could always meet up somewhere and cruise to the track.

I might be heading up that way to watch. The car isn't exactly race ready. Not even sure if I'd drive it that far yet.

Can't take the Illinois side by cutting through the QC area? I guess it depends where you're at. What did you mean by the ground up asphalt? Were you talking about the Cordova parking lot after some work they've done??? Edit: Just checked the website and saw that they are doing some work to the pit area. Is it loose gravel right now until they roll it or what's going on? Im curious what the condition of the lot is like. No way in hell I'm bringing my car near any loose rocks or gravel.

Never even paid any attention. lol. I was looking for the people I was meeting there, when I pulled in, and didn't even bother paying attention to anything, except trying to find there vehicles. haha

Didn't notice any problems with rocks at all. I couldn't even tell where the area was that was supposedly worked on. It all looked the same. I can usually hear every single loose rock and pebble bouncing off the underbody of the z06 as the tires grab and sling everything and there is no sound insulation on that thing. I literally heard almost nothing. Was ok for me, I'd take my car there again.

Yeah,I know the car can.I need some more seat time and better track prep. What's the pressure on 17" nitto DR's? I was running 17# and with a good 2nd gear burnout I still spun real bad.
