Sorry I mean some sunday I think it would need some advance notice for the cordova staff but maybe there could be a ounce a year qcaaf sunday private race day which would be pretty bad ass

it would be pretty cool but it would probably take more than an ounce to convince the Cordova officials to let us use their track.

People rent it out now on random sundays . I will email them and see what it cost and if its possible.

30 guys at $50 and it would look like a ghost town
50 cars at $30 and you could still get all the runs you could want
anything under 70 cars at a rental is a good time and not "busy"

I'd be down for paying up to $40 for a rental where i could get plenty of runs in... I'd be willing to help advertise and get as many cars as i could, i bet i could get 5-10 cars preety easily...

i also just called there and they said the person i need to talk to wasnt in but i left my name and number so hopefully one of us gets a call back and can get some info to maybe start getting something rolling on this...

So i just got a call back from Taz from cordova and here is some info i got...
For 4 hours during the day (dont need to turn the lights on) would be $1800 that is including all staff needed, ambulance etc...
That would be two lanes open, track sprayed/prepped and all that stuff...
For the $1800 it would be a 100 car maximum... so we'd be looking at roughly
30 cars- $60 each
40 cars- $45 each
50 cars- $36 each
60 cars- $30 each
70 cars- $26 each
only sunday dates left that are open are-
-august 22
-october 31
-november 7
if we were to do something during the week (obviously fri/sat is a no go) then that opens up alot more days...
so that is the general info i got so what does everyone think?

I agree with Oct 31 and 40 cars. Pre-pay and cut it off. Then charge $5 for spectators 16 and up to make a lil extra. This is exactly how I was tryin to set up a rental for bikes. Never could get a call back as soon as I said it was a bike rental

I agree with the oct 31 and 40 cars. I would be willing to head this and set up a bank account/paypal for prepay, it would have to be alllll prepay cause I'm a broke college kid and wouldn't be able to front any of the cost... Think we could get 40 cars for sure?

Trust me, four hours is plenty when you are racing as much as you want. I had 14 passes the last QCAAF track day we had. That was with cool down time and cooking lunch for an hour and a half.
