Think we could get 40 cars for sure? i have never seen an event with this low a turnout. if you put the word out. you will easily make your quota.  i'd cut off registration at 40 cars at $45 as well. that way people get all the runs they ever want and come back next year. then $5 for spectators to give you a lil extra money to take the people helping you that day (cause you will still need a few helpers on top of cordovas crew) out for dinner or drinks |

Ok so i'll call cordova again tomorrow and see if i can book it depending on how much the down payment has to be i will get an account set up for paypal so we can stay gettin people payed and registered... I wont start a list of names until i get everything setup and ready to start taking the payments and such...
Anyone else who is intersted in running please post up and how many spots you would be paying for so we can atleast get an idea of the turnout...

If I felt like getting my car together I could be in. But with the lack of interest I have putting it together this close to the end of the season. I'm still undecided. I need to get a garge up and then the motivation would be there.

Trent- I don't see why we couldnt give those away as door prizes, I'll get it touch with ya more if things do get finalized more....
I just called and left a message for Taz from Cordova asking about how much of a downpayment or if everything needs to be payed in full... I'd imagine most of this is going to have to be payed in advance so this wont happen unless all 40 spots are willing to pre pay or someone spots the money because i simply just dont have the money to front for everyones entry fees...

Just got a call back from Taz, He said there needs to be a $500 down payment to hold the date and the rest needs to be payed the day of at the latest... I still think it would be better and i would perfer everyone to prepay like atleast a week or two before the event to make sure that all spots are taken and paid for and all the money it going to be there to pay the $1800... So i will go ahead and move forward this week on getting a bank account setup somewhere so i can setup a paypal account for the pre payments to start rolling in...

After talking with Randy, we decided to open this up to more than 40 cars, i just think it would be funner with a few more cars there, i cant see there being over 60-70 cars and with that number there would still be plenty of time to get in ALOT of runs. With more cars coming in that would bring more money in so i was thinking doing a "fastest car shoot out" type deal where the winner of that would take a fraction of the extra money after the $1800 is payed and also do a drawing where each racer would get a number and there would be one winner from the drawing that would take another fraction of the extra money...
YatesEFI will be donating some money to this to get things started and it looks like Rev Hard will be donating some things that we could use as door prizes also... If any other businesses are willing to get involved and donate any money or anything to use as door prizes shoot me a message on there.

This is all coming together . Just some random thoughts , if it could be in fact annually I work for a company that we could maybe get cheap t shirts made 1st annual etc etc and that date is Halloween which may post some issues with attendance

well its not exactly the first annual there have been Qcaaf rentals in the past it just didnt work out this year for the people who were planning it so the one that was planned already had to be canceled...
I dont see there being a whole lot of attendance problems with it being from 12-4 in the afternoon?

The date has been penciled in at Cordova but wont be secured til we get the $500 down payment in, An account will be set up by next week so pre-payments can start rolling in...
